Open Question: Does someone know whether is asthma or not and how to cure it?
I need help! my 3 years old has asthma attacks whenever he is exposed to cold weather since he was 1 year old. (his allergy test results are always negative)
moreResolved Question: What environmental elements can I change in my home to cure a wheezy chest?
My partner has asthma and mostly; when he feels the symptoms start he uses the blue Ventolin inhaler, but recently at night time after about two or three hours normal sleep he gets a very wheezy chest and wakes up coughing finding it hard to breath, this has only started happening in the last two months or so. He thought it was a chest infection but a doctor has ruled this out and put him on a brown steroid type inhaler as well as his other one. He also has a polyp in his nose right inside at the top that prevents him breathing well through his nose and means his sense of smell is extremely limited. I would very much like things to go back to normal so he didn't have to use this new inhaler. He used to use one a few years back but hasn't needed it again until now so I'd like to find out why he suddenly needs it again.
My partner and I currently share a home with other people and as such our living and sleeping space are the same room; apart from the communal areas. We have had no circumstance changes in where we live or any additions to the home. We sleep in a fairly large, clean, well ventilated room and I used to hoover regularly (even the mattress and pillows) but since this has started to happen I do it as often as possible. I change the bedding regularly also.
In the room in which we sleep (as it is also our private space) we have a cage with two pet rats, we have had them a while and they have never caused problems for his breathing before, their cage is cleaned regularly and they are bathed once a week in a pesticide shampoo as they once had a spate of mites which we cleared out a good 7 months or more ago. The only thing that bothers him about the rats at all has only started to happen recently too, in the same time span as the wheezy chest, whenever he handles the rats, if they accidentally break the skin with a small scratch (they have very sharp claws and this is sometimes unavoidable), the area in which the scratch is becomes like a small red welt, no ooze or goo comes from it and it clears again in half an hour or so and doesn't cause him any irritation, just the red mark.
I wanted to be as thorough as possible with the details so that I might get a better answer as to what might be causing the wheezy chest but if I missed anything feel free to ask me. I had some ideas that it might be dust or the rats or my laundry liquid but nothing has changed; and if anything things are kept cleaner now since the wheezy chest than when his chest was fine.
Please, if anyone has any ideas or sufferers in a similar way please could you let me know what you do to solve it or give me some advice or ideas to try out. I really don't want my partner to have to take medicine again that he managed to get rid of a few years back.
Thank youOh, one last thing I forgot, the rats bed down in hay, now he does suffer from hay fever but again; in the last few years; it has not bothered him at all and he needed no medication in the summer and the hay the rats sleep in has never bothered him either, he even handles it when it's his turn to clean them so I'm stumped! :(Thank you for your responses, I'll add a few more detials so you know what already has been addressed and what might work.
We live in a farily new build part of the house, nearly a year old now, so it is insulated to the proper standards and the heating boiler is fairly new also. There are no signs of damp or mold and mostly the windows are shut but if he starts to wheez, one of the things that helps is fresh air so the window gets opened then, but usually gets shut again in the morning. We have real wood floors so no carpet, not even a rug.
The mattress could be a problem, it's about 6 months old and gets vaccumed regularly and flipped every few months, he's been sleeping on it for as long as we've had it but only in the last two months or so has the wheezing come about. I have changed from feather duvet and pillows as he said sometimes they can irritate his asthma but maybe I have changed to something that contains an element that is more irritating than feathers
moreResolved Question: universal relationship or principle for truth seekers?
do you believe what you give out comes back to you
From my research and inspiration I have led to a concept called karma and this seems to be the only thing stopping us from achieving , health wealth and happiness
Karma therapy
One of the most powerful allies to any person is to know about karma therapy for if you understand this you can even
Avoid getting health wealth happiness problems
Or if you currently have problems in those areas
Give you the most effective tool, which I have come across to help you alleviate them.
This is the tool
The value of giving
Putting something or some service into society is one of the most transforming tools with which we all benefit . The value of it is much higher than we can possibly know and it should be included as part of everyone’s health program. The giver may ask how will helping others help my health and me! That is a very good question, which is very worthy of a serious amount of thought. This touches on the concept which is called karma .
For if one truly wants to live with the great allies of Health, wealth, happiness, Love and all those effects which one values one should really understand this concept. It is the only thing, which explains the apparent randomness of the effects, which come upon people.
Effects are all aspects of health, Wealth, Richness, [note these two are separate] Happiness etc.
What is karma? Put simply it is the law of cause and effect. Or put as another way as you sow so shall you reap, or what goes around comes around. What do we mean by sowing? Simply every action or deed you do causes an effect and every thought causes an effect.
So if you have sown good deeds as in helping others, being of service, giving love and Kindness for lengthy periods of time you can expect to reap those seeds. Alternatively if we have sown other deeds and thoughts of a hurtful nature we can expect problems of one nature or another to beset us.
Edgar Cayce frequently mentioned in treating disease that we were working against karma and frequently told people that they would get well faster by helping others.
Ah you may say why is it that babies are sometimes born with so many impediments; they have not sown wrongful acts.
Yes they have not in this lifetime but what about their previous lives as in reincarnation. You may not wish to go into this subject at this time but there are millions of references to it, some in the bible and a lot of eastern religions, some people can actually remember their past lives.
There is now even past life regression therapy used in hypnosis to treat phobias, which are not connected with this lifetime.
What do you think these statements mean taken out of the bible
John5:5-14 When Jesus discovered a man who had been ill for thirty eight years .
On curing him Jesus said to the man.’Behold you have become well; do not sin anymore so that nothing worse may befall you’
This clearly indicates that by implication of his statement that this mans troubles were caused by breaking the law of karma.
Matthew 9;2 And behold they were bringing to him a paralytic, lying on a bed and Jesus seeing their faith said to the paralytic “Take courage, my son your sins are forgiven”
Mathew 12:36 And I say to you that every careless word that men shall speak, they shall render account for it in the day of judgment for by your words you shall be justified and by your words you shall be condemned.
Causes and effects met in the way of an eye for an eye - from Edgar cayce research
People Suffering Asthma Pressed the life out of others
People Suffering BlindnessBlinded captives with red hot irons
People Suffering ParalysisInjured others so they could barely walk
People Suffering Anaemia Shed others blood
Racial bigotAs a galley slave he was beaten to death by a negro master
People Suffering Cancer Laughed at Christians being torn apart by wild animals
People Suffering life as Paraplegic- As a Roman soldier – made light of others suffering
People Suffering Poverty Abused others-Impoverished others
Suffering Repeated disappointmentsDisappointed others
A woman who was wary of menDeserted by husband in the crusades
People Suffering ClaustrophobiaBuried alive
People Suffering Choking spasmsstrangled others to death
People Suffering Mental illness Practised Withcraft, Black magic
All illness suffered now is the result of sin sown earlier Edgar cayce says ,this applies to wealth and happiness as well apparently
Now we can meet our karma in two ways the first as in an eye for an eye, which means reaping in the exactly the same way as we have done. This is outlined above from the Edgar cayce research
We see this method being enacted each day mostly on the news, as calamity after calamity is portrayed to us .

disease
torture
homelessness
it is very painful to see and to feel.

My eczema is always quite bad and effects my mobility, self image, confidence and is time consuming to treat.
The above really affects my confidence to do anything. I try very hard to control it but after 20 years of trying this and that and even risking my life trying homepathic "cures" im stiill really bad.
My face is very bad with eczema so i fell in interviews and meeting new people that i blush and often people will ask things like "whats that on your face?" or describe me as "her with eczema on her face" I just hate that its the first thing people view of me.
I cant go out to restaurants with out taking panic attacks. Chefs have fallen out with me when i have asked them to show me whats in their meals.
I get very depressed for no reason, i think its down to the pain from my skin, my poor sleep and poor breathing. Added to the normal stressed of life and lack of support.
Helplines and support groups state the obvious. I want to know what will safe guard my security.
Am i eligible for disibility living allowance? Can i force me GP to refer me to a special department.

Although I'm no longer C of E, I'm curious as to what the C of E's stance is towards the donation of one's body to science after death. I think it's selfless because it could mean a step towards finding a cure for an incurable disease, but then it doesn't entail a Christian burial or cremation. As I've got pretty bad asthma, and am a veggie, I'd love for there to be a cure for this, as yet incurable disease that includes research that is not based on animals. moreResolved Question: Peanut Allergy Cure?? .?
My little girl had a skin test about 3 1/2 years ago and tested positive for allergy to peanuts, so we have had to avoid numerous foods and going out for meals because of the "may contain nuts" labels. I carry an epipen for my daughter just in case of anaphylaxic shock. When we go away in march i will also have to take a nebulizer as when she has an asthma attack it comes on very quick. But i think it is great that they may have found a cure for peanut allergy? as my little girl will probably grow out of asthma but the nut allergy is life long.
I hope that they eventually will find a cure for cancer and stop all the suffering so many people have to go through.Fredall - Yes i do carry and Epipen (adrenaline) just in case ,but i would never attempt to try and give my daughter anything myself because its just not worth the risk as i know how bad a reaction can be (have had severe anaphylactic shock myself and doctors have told me that next time my allergy will more than likely kill me). They told me each time a person has a reaction its a lot worse?

Hey all. It's my birthday in 4 weeks and I just wanted to lose a few pounds, so I feel extra good ;) You know how it is. 7 pounds would be perfect but I don't know if I'm quite capable of that in four weeks! I'm not usually very motivated when it comes to dieting. However, I was wondering what is the most effective way of shifting weight on your legs without building muscle, by boyfriend told me it was exercise bikes, and general cardio. I'm just a little anxious as I tend to build muscle really easily which doesn't exactly make my legs look any thinner. Is there any foodies or drinks anyone could also suggest, you know you hear weird things all the time like beetroot cures asthma or something, I don't know? :P Ha ha. Well any help is appreciated anyway, thank you! ^-^ XX

I used to have severe asthma and frequently had bad attacks during most of my childhood, i have always recalled having a loud irritating cough and used to describe to my parents as having a 'bubble in my throat i had to keep popping'.
This cough has never really gone away and just recently i think I've had a few attacks again however the problem is more this really loud cough that just wont stop! its not just the noise it feels as if its really damaging my throat/ lungs as there very sore and it does seem like there may be something very wrong.
Does any one have any idea what it could be, or had/have something similar, or have any ideas on how to cure/help it?
Thanksthanks so far for the answers.
As for the doctors i have tried in fact today i went and go no help what so ever, as he was too busy waiting for the lunch hour to start.
As for the dust explanation, i have recently moved into uni halls and as the problem still exists surly it rules at that my house/dust was the problem.

When i was a child i had fairly bad asthma, i would get weezy in the cold weather, and also struggle to breathe properly after running around, as i used to be very active as a child.
At about age 11 my doctor prescribed me ventolin inhalers to keep breathing problems under control, which i have to say worked very well.
From the age of 12 to 18, i has no asthma problems, i thought it was cured. there was no need for the inhalers at night, after any activity, or in cold weather. Unfortunately at age 14 i started smoking, but my asthma was still fine, no problems occured.
Then at age 18, every night, and after any sort of activity or running i would struggle to breathe. The first time in 6 years i needed my inhaler to control the asthma.
Now im 20, and i take my inhaler every night, and i cant run around without my inhaler otherwise i will be weezing for hours.
Why has it come back? I thought i grew out of asthma as i had no troubles for 6 years
Is it because of smoking?
