Open Question: Dizzy,Blacking out and Dilated eyes. Been going on for few year, gotten more bad as time went on.?

For past few years i've been getting dizzy and having motion sickness. I was not bad at frist, but I had these things happen like 4 or more times in the week. But that was in the past like 10 years ago up to now. I'm 18 years old (Boy), Never did drugs, smoked or drinked in my life. Over all I'm healthy. But in the past year up to now I've seen my dizziness has gotten very bad. Hell I can get motion sickness with my own driving now =( The dizziness had gotten so bad it can make me fall asleep if I lay down...or sometimes I sit and wait, in hope it stops. Feel like I am dizzy 24/7 now. When I was a kid I got alot of ear infections, and I still do get them (going see a ear doctor soon) But even if I don't have an ear infection I still feel this way. I was on a high blood pressure pill about 2 months ago but I was tooken off it ( was 250Lb's...now I am 200lb's still working on it yay for me) My blood pressure is ok now. But I think this is the "BIGGEST" problem here...Every time I get up from sitting (slow,fast, what ever...be slow as a turtle still happens) I almost pass out/black out. I get this odd feelings, very hard to say what it is. But feels like something moving from front of my head to the back of it. This started to happen about 3 months ago. This doesnt happen every time i get up more like 50% 50%. But when it does happen, I almost fall down to the floor its so bad. I have to grab on to something to keep my self up. I say it slowly got more bad over them 2 months "(Most scariest/not good thing is my eyes)" Few times this has happen to me and I got to look at my self in the mirror up close. My eyes were dilated (Very Dilated 1st time it happen) and i say they still are very dilated when this happens. They go down alittle but still big for few mins. But odd thing is my eyes always look alittle bit (a little) dilated even when I'm not having this feeling..no easy way to say it sorry <=\ ...But when the blacking out feeling comes my eyes get very dilated. I can be in a room with light and all. This still happens to me with my eyes.......My Doctor knows about this stuff but not the eyes part (mother seen it was nothing to worry about -.-) But I feel like they (family and doctor) are not telling me something. There is not much I can do right now cuz I found out my doctor is on vacation and i dont see the other doctor for another 10 days. I'm going on a plane tomorrow and I get severe motion sickness. I've used Bonine before, I usually take 2 pills 3 hours before getting on the plane which has worked ok, not great though. I was wondering if I could take one before I go to sleep tonight and then 2 more tomorrow before I get on the plane? I know it says it works for 24 hours but I need to be sure I don't get sick. I am going on a long car ride soon (14 hours?) with my family and a friend. My friend suffers from car sickness, sometimes really severe. I have had 4 four hour car rides with her and she was okay but once on a 2 hour one she threw up (partially due to coming from a amusement park and her drinking Grape G2). Anyways, we plan to stop a lot to give her fresh air and I hope she'll take motion sickness pills but what other ways can she keep from throwing up (I have a strong phobia of that) and I want her to have fun and not be miserable! So... im going to six flags in about a week. Im scared to death of those big roller coasters that my friends are talking about. Im afrad if im going to have a very intense sickness during the roller coaster ride because I have rode few roller coasters in universal studio like Mummy ride. I felt sick during the ride but didnt throw up. I'd get this weird sensation in my stomache and have to duck my head and close my eyes to withstand the sickness. My muscles in my upper thighs hurt, my lower back, I have abdominal pain often and I'm always and forever nauseous. I dislike vomiting all the time. My doctors prescribed me Phenergan and it doesn't work for me. I bought Motion Sickness pills from CVS and they work like a miracle! You have to take time once a day before breakfast to stop the nausea for the whole day. It helps me keep my food down. If you have problem with your prescription I recommend you get the Motion Sickness pills in the blue box from your local CVS Pharmacy.P.S. I asked my doctor's permission before I took the motion sickness pills and he assured me that it's a good idea. i get dizzy when theres two or more things attacking my senses. for example, if im watching tv in the living room, and my parents are watching tv in the dining room (no separation), and my brother is playing video games in another room (also no separation) i get very dizzy cause in addition to looking at the tv screen and hearing the tv, i hear my parents tv, and my brothers tv. these kind of these get me dizzy pretty quick, and i get pretty bad headaches. because of this, i can't play portable video game consoles (PSP or Ipod touch/ipad) unless im alone in a quiet place. but the reason why i want to buy these things is because i get bored waiting for my name to be called at the doctor's office, while in the car or in similar situations. (i get especially dizzy in the car) the slightest thing can get me dizzy, like when im watching tv and my brother is talking to me, i can get dizzy. is there anyway i can get rid of this and be able to do these sort of things like play PSP in a crowded place without getting very dizzy? i also dont even want to try pills because ive got hyperthyroidism and everything (even headache medicine) goes right through me, i dont feel a thing. besides, i want to get rid of the problem permanently instead of just getting rid of the headaches. more

Well, to start things off. I know you cannot get pregnant without sperm, so don't get me wrong here. I just really need help. Okay, about 3 months ago, my boyfriend fingered me, right.. And, since then i feel like I'm getting bigger, and my stomach is getting a bit harder, and i feel nauseous. So for the past few years, 3 of em, i've been experiencing anxiety issues, which have prevented me from schooling or jobs....i leave my house to go to the store, or things like that, but every time i have to go somewhere, i have this extreme fear/anxiety about feeling sick while i'm out. It gets to the point that i'm very nauseated before i even touch the doorknob to leave. some of my friends even make fun of my signiture quote "I don't feel good". every time i'm invited anywhere i can't go, because "I know i'll feel sick, and won't be able to be at home at the very second i need to be" i occasionally get panic attacks, and am semi-depressed in general, the depression part i feel comes from....well everything. i see life being kind of....lol i want to say not fair but...i'll put it this way, we are born, have fun as a kid, then have to work our asses off just to pay bills and aquire a bunch of meaningless things. but...then what? nothing. I have a fear of people...not really a social anxiety kind of problem, but more like a "i live in the ghetto, and i feel like i'll get robbed if i walk down the street" ....everyone i've met here thep ast 3 years has been a trashy theif. thats just the only kind of people around here. not to mention its Seattle, and its always raining and gloomy. Basically, this problem doesn't allow me to be out of the house for long, and i just get this extreme nausea that can stop me in my tracks, and i'll just sit there for a moment trying to recover and be able to swallow without gagging. that makes driving VERY hard sometimes, when a panic attack hits. i took citalopram for a few months, but it didnt seem to be working (first 10mg, then 20) and i heard a normal dosage was 40, so i wasn't takign enough, but i decided that medicine wasn't helping at all. Is there anything that could help? hi, Me and my husband decided we were ready to make babies. At the end of March, after i had my periods, i stopped taking my birth control pills. i don't remember the dates (i know you would be surprised how i could forget that), but i do know that i took my last pill on either Wed, March 26th or Wed, March 31st. my periods must have started after 3 to 4 days of the last pill. (the pill was the last of the three week pack, i usually don't take the sugar pills then). I had sex with my husband just one day before the ovulation(again i don't remember the dates, i remember looking it up online for the ovulation date) and then not during the ovulation time. but several times after it. today is May 2nd and i still havent had my period. i've heard they can be delayed if you've been taking birth control pills before. but is there a chance i am pregnant. i sometimes feel slight bit of motion sickness in the car, also today i just felt a little nauseated but not alot. (i might be imagining it too). i am definiftely bloated but this can also be bcos of lack of coffee. i am also having mood swings. A few months ago I had what I'm about 90% sure was an anxiety attack out of absolutely NO WHERE...Felt like I was having a heart attack. I couldn't eat, focus, anything, just paralized, trembling, chest pains, felt like I was going to "lose it" for lack of a better term. Went out to my car, laid down there for about 45 minutes, felt ok enough to drive and drove home. By the time I got home I felt fine. After that I felt fine again for a few weeks until I had another one, same situation just sitting in the office working but this time the issues never went away. It's been months and EVERY DAY I feel like I'm on the verge of having another one. As a result mild agoraphobia is present (I dread meetings etc) and I've noticed a severe problem with motion sickness/stomach sensitivity to movement etc now that I didn't have before (though I've never been fond of crazy roller coasters and/or heights, but it's MUCH worse now - For instance, I couldn't handle the space needle restaraunt in Seattle...made it to the table for about 5 minutes then had to go back down). My doctor tried a few SRRI's (can't remember the name of them now, but) and they didn't work, they actually made the problems WORSE...He tried me on 3 different ones and every time I took the first pill of that type I was unable to work that day due to it magnifying the symptoms rather than eliminating them. Now I have a prescription for Valum (sp?) that I take just before entering a meeting or something, takes the edge off, so works in that sense, but doesn't completely resolve it. I can't figure out how to resolve this, it's getting REALLY annoying (wife wants to go to Vegas next month and take a helicopter ride to the grand canyon's sky walk...I'm DREADING that trip for the helicopter ride and the sky walk, both have me freaked out about well, freaking out). Symptoms seem to be worse in the morning, ease off a bit by mid-day/afternoon and are minimal at night (though still there). Thinking maybe acupuncture? Therapy? But for the latter would it be phsycologist or phsychiatrist? Willing to try anything to ditch this. more

I am 18, and I have been married for 5 months. I have also been on "the pill" for 3 months. I did take a different pill that after the first week gave me some pregnancy but after i stopped those symptoms went away. So this last month the week before the "sugar pills" I very lightly spotted, and that spotting continued for the last half of that week, and most of the "sugar pill" week. The beginning of the next week I started to feel morning sickness. Not right away, usually about an hour after I woke up and started eating, I would feel nausea and dizzy, I would also get a headache. Now the last week, my breasts have been swelling up and hurting like crazy to where no one can even hug me without them hurting. I still have the "morning sickness" but now it comes and goes all day. I get easy motion sick. I am bloated & constipated. I am very hungry with strange cravings, and no more then half an hour after I eat I am ready for another big meal. I also am VERY thirsty, which makes me urinate a lot. My usual temperature is 97.2 and now it's at 99.7. There is a small amount of milky discharge. I also have a random sharp pain in my left side. I took a HPT after 5 pm, and it came out negative, I did hear that I should wait until morning, so I probably will take one in the morning, but I wanted to see if someone can help me sooner. I also used "clear blue" and I am unsure how accurate that brand is. Should I just make a doctor appointment now, or wait a while longer? more

Voting Question: Sitting next to my crush on the bus but dealing with motion sickness?

Ok so a couple days ago I decided I was going to be spontaneous and ask a guy out to the athletic awards banquet in May. I decided it would be best to first get the guts to ask if he would sit next to me on the bus on the way to an out of state competition. He agreed and I was thrilled except for one thing. I get extremely sick when I ride any where near the back of the bus and that is most likely where everyone will want to sit. And I am afraid that motion sickness medicine might only make it worse. okay so yesterday i started feeling sick like this. I was fine in the morning, but when i got back from school i started feeling nauseous, and had a headache. I didnt throw up but everytime i thought about food i stomach turned. Then i ate a piece of cake and that made it much worse. Although i didnt throw it back up, but stomach just felt uneasy. i drank some water a couple hours before bed because i thought that might help or something. the next morning i felt somewhat worse. and i had cramps. Sometimes after sex-- usually only really good sex-- I'll randomly start gagging and I'll feel nauseated. A few times I've almost thrown up. Totally un-sexy, I know. About 5 years ago I started getting motion sickness very easily. It happens in cars, planes, and especially on roller coasters. I went to Kings Island two years ago. I drove two hours and rode one ride and was so sick i had to leave, I was sick the entire drive home and all night too (vomiting, headaches, and chills). starting with most recent issue: the past 3 friday mornings I get motion sickness & I throw up. im not sure what is wrong with me, my doctor said to come make an appointment with him, but he's booked for the next 3 weeks! i might add that I am not sexually active, so this is not a pregnancy issue. i do not have an eating disorder, i am not obese, i am physically active 20 yr old white female. I do work 2 PT jobs & school FT, but im not stressed- I prefer a busy busy schedule. MEDICAL HISTORY: 1.) tonsillectomy in 2006 (neurotic tonsils resulting in urgent surgury) that made my stomach very sensitive. i can't take meds without eating (including tylenol), pending on pill- i must rest or sleep after dosage otherwise i will throw up. a year after the surgury I began having stomach pains that resulted in the ER showing I had cysts on my overies. the pain only happens after i eat though. can be mild- severe pain. & my bowel movements change drastically during my cycle (& the pain is only during my cycle also). a year after the surgury i also started throwing up regularly for an entire year it was consistently once a week i would throw up, btu not always on the same day & sometimes i would throw up more than once a week. Last month, my gyno told me chances are I have endometriosis, but to verify that I would have to have laproscopy of my abdomen. does anyone have advice for me? When i finally do see my doctor, what should i be telling them? is my past history of value or this a new problem? should i start a daily diet log to give to my doctor in 3 weeks? any websites with info on stomach issues would be great too. thanks! the reason i never saw my doctor before was because i was 16 & my mom thought i was a hypocondriac, BUT since i was a child i have always been a sick kid & 99% of the time i went to the doctor there was something wrong. more

Resolved Question: Preparing for a long road trip with my dog?

My biological father lives far away, so once a year I travel up there to spend 6 weeks with him. I have a GSD/Husky mix, and the first year I had him, I left him at home with my parents. We then found out he had separation anxieties. I had to go home early because he wouldn't eat, kept peeing indoors and lost all will to play. Apparently all he did was lie by the front door. Next year I decided to take him with me by plane. Better idea than leaving him at home, but still not so good. The plane trip seemed to have totally freaked him out, and he was being jumpy and nervous for several days after both trips (and nervous dogs aren’t exactly too trustworthy). On the trip home I even got some sedatives for him, but they didn't do much other than keeping him calm while on the plane. So this year I was thinking of driving up there, but it's a very long trip. About 3 days. Luckily he is the kind of dog that thinks sitting in a moving car is the AWSOMEST THING EVAH! And I've taken him on long trips before (though nowhere near as long as 3 days, longest was 5 hours) without having any problems. I have even found several hotels along the way that allow dogs, and I'm getting some motion sickness pills for him, just in case, even though he hasn’t had a problem with that since he was a puppy. But is there anything else I should do? When and how often should he be fed and should he be fed with the usual food or is there some kind of “special” food for traveling? How often should I stop to let him stretch and for how long? He’ll be in a secure cage in the backseat and have water at all times. Thanks. Btw, the separation anxiety is only bad if I’m gone for long periods of time. He doesn’t mind me being gone if it’s according to my schedule.
