I've been dizzy off and on all weekend, and I was nauseous, so I spent the weekend in my bed. Yesterday, I had energy, so I went to the drug store to buy something that would calm my stomach. I got some motion sickness pills, cause it has helped in the past. My nausea is pretty much gone, but I'm extremely dizzy. When I'm sitting or lying down, I still feel really dizzy and it's even worse when I stand. Does anyone know how I can get rid of the dizziness, or get it under control? Okay i am taking a 6-7 hour trip in a few days. Im not quite sure if i will get car sick. I never have before. Ive gone 6-7 hours allot of times before. But i got sick in the car 1 time before on a 1 hour ride, But i think it was because i was eating on the way there. Im going to the keys again this summer because we only live an hour away and its cheap. So my brother has this motion sickness problem when ever we stay out for a while on the boat. Last year we all loved going to looe key which is a reef a ways off shore. So we'll get out there and stay for about 45 minutes before my brother starts feeling sick ( head ache, quesy, the usuall sea sick problems) . Hes even in the water while we're there but he always gets sick with the sypmtoms ive named. We give him motrin before we leave, he wears a motion sickness bracelet ( which helps a lot ) but nothing we've tried seems to stop his symptoms from occuring. So does anyone know something that will hold his symptoms over for an hour and a half or even stop his motion sick symptoms all together. Any advice needed and will be taken with great pleasure. I feel so helpless, my daughter and her boyfriend are on a cruise and she called me last night in tears saying that she can't stop feeling dizzy from the motion of the boat. I had my first surfing lesson today and started to feel kind of dizzy when I was paddling out. It might have been the fact that it was my first time, that it was foggy and I couldn't see very well, that my wetsuit felt too hot and tight, or that I swallowed some seawater.
