Voting Question: Parents, have your kids ever gotten motion sickness from long car rides?
Our 3 yr old has gotten sick the last two times we've gone on a trip longer than 30 minutes. The first time she threw up and the second time we made it home before she was sick.
Tomorrow we are going to a zoo that is 2 hours away and I want to be prepared. I plan on stopping at the pharmacy when I get off work to see what they have. I assume that they make Dramamine for toddlers. Has anyone ever had to use it? Is it non-drowsy? Is there anything else you've tried, like the Sea Bond bracelets that work?
I don't want her to be sick or drowsy all day. Thanks!The carseat is in the middle. We don't have a DVD player or anything. She is normally looking out or talking to her dolls or us. Right now my AC is not working so well, so the windows will be partially down.

anyways in june im going to six flags with my school , i kow i have a lot of time..but i always get motion sickness..in the car , in buses, sometims airplanes..EVERYTHING , including carnival rides and such , anyways last year i went on a trip to PA(from NJ) and i threw up-_- it was embrassing and i dont think i would want it to happen this year too..so would motion sickness bracelets help ??

Hello, I am going to the fair tonight, and tonight it's bracelet night. The problem is that I cannot go on rides that tip you upside down or spins you around too fast, because I get dizzy or slightly nauseous. I want to ride the most rides as possible, so it won't be a waste of money. I don't want to get sick, I want to have a blast!
What can I do to cure motion sickness? Do you think it has something to do with eating before going on rides? What can I do to cure motion sickness, or what can I do to make myself not as sick?

I've been dizzy off and on all weekend, and I was nauseous, so I spent the weekend in my bed. Yesterday, I had energy, so I went to the drug store to buy something that would calm my stomach. I got some motion sickness pills, cause it has helped in the past. My nausea is pretty much gone, but I'm extremely dizzy. When I'm sitting or lying down, I still feel really dizzy and it's even worse when I stand. Does anyone know how I can get rid of the dizziness, or get it under control? I'm debating on trying when of those motion sickness bracelets to see if that helps. Thanks!

Okay i am taking a 6-7 hour trip in a few days. Im not quite sure if i will get car sick. I never have before. Ive gone 6-7 hours allot of times before. But i got sick in the car 1 time before on a 1 hour ride, But i think it was because i was eating on the way there. And one other time also because i think i was DEEP into my sleep gotta woken up and had to get on the road in the middle of the night. So i heard about bracelet things. I didn't have on of those specific ones but should i wear a tight bracelet? if that what it is? and im not sure if i should take gravol before hate trip or if i feel sick on the way. I have cheables. I didn't really think ill get sick but just in case. What are some ways i could decrease sickness. Because i will have to sit in the back. I PROBALY will get a window seat/ALSO!! i always read my text messages to and from school. Its only about a 15 minute ride though.

So does anyone know something that will hold his symptoms over for an hour and a half or even stop his motion sick symptoms all together. Any advice needed and will be taken with great pleasure. I feel so helpless, my daughter and her boyfriend are on a cruise and she called me last night in tears saying that she can't stop feeling dizzy from the motion of the boat. Her boyfriend went out and got her some bracelet that they sell on the ships for motion sickness, does anyone know if those bracelets help?
