i like this guy but he's my brother's friend,they are in a band together.so i woulsd see him at school and i would feel butterflies in my stomach but he didn't really notice me.One day while i was on myspace i saw that he was online so i couldn't help it and we were talking so then i told him that i liked him and if we could go out sometime and al he said was "i don't know,you're my freinds sister" i understood but then a few days later i asked him to come over because i had made him a shirt and a bracelet with the bands logo on it,so he came over,i gave it to him and he stayed for a while and we were talking and then he kissed me.Ever since that day i always think of him.I still like him and think of him till this day.(no joke)but it's awkward because the only interaction we had was "hi","how have you been ?",how are you ?" but somehow i feel so attracted to him.I try to get over him but it seems the ore i try the more it backfires on me.I just don't know what to do.Can't get him off my mind.I like him so much.HELP PLEASE !! any advice would help thanks in advance more

I sprint down the narrow hallway, into the tiny bathroom and slam the door shut behind me. Tears streming down my red hot cheeks, i take the knife out of its hiding spot on top of the cabinet and touch the cool blade to my wrist. Suddenly my mind becomes very blank and clear. I force my eyes to look away from the blade against my skin. I take in my surroundings. Small, dank bathroom. Forset green paint chipping off the walls surrounding me...suffocating me. Iook up...see my reflection. The person in the mirror does not look like me. Face...hot, nose...runny, hair...wild, eyes...crazed. Wanting so despretaly to do the deed, but knowing I can't. My eyes, filling with tears at the sight of the person in the mirror, dart back down to my wrists, my arms... All i see are faded scars. As i stare at the blade against skin, I force myself to stop. It's summer, which means short sleeves and tanks. Once would be fine, but I have already done it once. Two or three times could raise suspicion. Reluctantly i pick up the little decorative box off the top of the cabinet, and return the knife safely to its hiding spot...to save for a rainy day. I splash some cold water on my face and cheeks to cool them down. Brush out my wild hair, and take some deep breaths...hoping for my eyes to become less frantic. I look in the mirror again. I look just as I had a few minutes ago. I look the way everyone expects me to look. Like a happy, healthy teenage girl...although on the inside...i feel the complete opposite. I open the door with a stoic expression and walk across the hall to my room...making sure to close the door behind me. My new weapon of choice...a rubberband. I snap it hard against my pale white wrist to get the full effect of the pain. All the while watching the door...hoping nobody will stumble in on me. When I feel I've done enough to rid myself of all the hurt, i put the rubber band back in my drawer. I check my wrists for marks. There is a slight red ring...a few bracelets could hide that nicely. I search through my cluttered white dresser for some bigger bracelets. I slide some into just the right spot, walk over to the door, and open it up to the real world, while leaving my own. The real world which expects me to be a perfect, happy tenager girl, but my life is far from perfect. Surely I will return to my world soon enough, but for now, I must retreat into the world I hate. The world which forces me to create my own so I have somewhere to get away. My world? My world is all about depression and misery. My world which has one giant secret, which nobody knows, or ever will know...at least not now. So I walk out into the world, confident my secret will be kept. I mean, everyone was too oblivious all the other times to notice my dark secret. Why should they start noticing now? Right? more

What is the name of the website/designer who makes unique bracelets, headbands and keychains? I believe he is from New York and the pictures of the website are always of him and his girlfriend. His bracelets aren't gold or silver, they are customized and unique colorful bands. I have known this guy for probably 7 years total. We never really talked until recently. We decided after talking through FB for a while, to grab a drink while him and his friend were in town for the night (he lives about 85 miles away). We grabbed a drink and he kept brushing his leg against mine. When we sat down to listen to the band, he motioned for me to get closer, as he put his arm around my shoulder. Before the end of the night, he gave me his favorite hemp bracelet that he had on his wrist(he made it). He walked me to me car, and we kissed for probably 40 minutes. He texted me shortly after me leaving, saying how amazing his night was thanks to me. We've been texting daily since then... I guess I just want to know...does he really like me? I was thinking on or above my wrist bone, I know it will hurt. or my foot/ankle, but i hear that fades quickly. Open Question: Why am I such a loner?.?

Ohkay. So I'm a freshman. I'll give you a gist of what my personality/appearance is: I'm super artsy. I'm clumsy. I have long, brown hair. I have green or blue eyes. I'm a size four. My wardrobe consists of: Vans in every color. Converse. Denim skinny jeans. Band tshirts, regular tshirts. Vnecks. All that stuff. I wear fifty thousand bracelets. I draw all of the time, and I'm not mean/rude/judgmental. I mind my own business, and unlike most fourteen/fifteen year olds, I avoid drama. But people do not like me. I mean I have one or two friends. I don't think I'm that weird/geeky, or anything. I'm not shy, I'll talk to you if you talk to me. But people(girls in particular) won't be friends with me. &The few that try, I end up avoiding because they try to put me into their web of lies[haha.] So I was just wanting your opinions on maybe why people aren't eager to be friends with me. I've always seen people wearing these rings that are silver and have a flat, round face with their initials or maybe their name carved in them. Resolved Question: How should we word this invitation?

We are holding my son's third birthday party at a local amusement park. We however cannot afford to purchase the ride band's for everyone who will be attending. We will be renting a pavilion there, and providing food and drinks. How could I phrase the invitation to say that they are going to have to purchase their own ride bracelets (which are almost $16 each for all day)? Also we will have some $3 off coupons we can provide. The admission to the park itself is free, so it's not like they will have to pay just to go to his party, only if they want to ride rides (which who wouldn't while at the park but still)Do most of you even know what most family do for parties like this? We plan on having everyone meet up at the pavilion at lets say 11, and then let people go out and do their own thing til about 1, then have them come back to eat & do cake and then go back out and do whatever they want. It's not like we are going to force children to hang out with him the entire time. It will be mostly family & close family friends as he is not in preschool yet. Also, we already put a $50 deposit down on the pavilion, and I am not going to change the venue and lose the deposit. I'm sorry that I can't afford to hold 2 birthday parties 2 weeks apart AND pay for everyones ride passes on top of that (my youngest has his first birthday party two weeks before my oldest son's birthday, we are holding his at my husband's fire hall) We will not combine birthday parties, as my son deserves his own first birthday party. Hipster definition: Best known for walking out of an Urban Outfitters Catalogue. Female Hipsters tend to wear either 1. Leggings 2. They also seem to miss the entire irony of how they buy thrift store" clothing from department stores. Just feeding into the "mainstream" culture of consumerism that they claim to be countering. But getting to the heart of hipster culture, it should be understood that true hipsters care a lot but they don't care. I.E. it’s all about the image. They spend obscene amounts of time calculating their outfits, the bands they like, and the hobbies that they're into. However, they have to pretend that all of it bores them, and that it comes naturally... because only the coolest hipsters don't try, yet still manage to be subversive and hip. more

Resolved Question: How can I get rid of my eczema ?

In the winter, I decided to wear some shag bands (jelly bracelets) and they hadn't bothered me until around last week. I noticed I had some small red spots on my wrist underneath the bands. I showed my mum and she assured me it was eczema. I took the bands off as soon as I was told this. I used to get eczema when I was younger on my arms but I haven't had it for probably about 5 years until now. Since I found it, I have not itched it at all, and I have been moisturising the area very regularly. However, this doesn't seem to be helping and it looks like it's getting worse. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to get rid of it or even minimise it ? It would be much appreciated. more
