I'm going to be a Junior in High School this year. i'm a 16 year old girl who since she was about 6, wanted to be a marine biologist or anything having to do with the ocean and water and animals. Well, the past couple of years i've really looked into being a Pediatrician, I volunteered at a hospital this summer but the places i was put in had nothing to do with what i wanted to be ( i was placed in purchasing and physical thearapy) I really really really LOVE kids. I love to babysit, i love to help people and i'm always being told im amazing with kids. I really like the doctors equipment and setting and stuff but after recently going to the beach and the aquarium i'm all marine science again. I know they don't make as much money as pediatricians do but they don't work the long hours that pediatricians work either. In school i'm really good at Biology, anatomy, but not the best in math...C in Algebra 2... I'm taking trig this year and i'm awful at geometry so its going to affect my GPA If i decide to go be a marine science major i can get my degree at Costal Carolina University in South Carolina, 9 miles from Myrtle beach! i drove by the campus and its beautiful with small classes! If i want to be a Pediatrician i can go to marshall University in WV or something else with its own medical school..i'd like to go to Ohio State but its too hard to get into so i may just cancel that out......
